ready, fire, aim!

READY, FIRE, AIM!

The above phrase is taken from "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" book by T. Harv Eker.

Translation: Action! You can always readjust once you start and get going. Yet, because of our own limiting beliefs, real or imagined fears, or plain laziness, we are so averse to actions.

My (sarcastic) answers to common excuses:

“How can I catch up with others?”

My answer: First, you start.

“It’s not the right time!”

My answer: You don’t wait for the right time. You make the time right.

“Where can I find the time?”

My answer: Between now and when you’re dead. I suggest the sooner you find time, the better.

“I’m too old for this.”

My answer: If Yuichiro Miura can climb Mount Everest at the age of 80 years 223 days old, what’s your excuse?

And my personal favourite…

“It’s too hard!”

My answer:

Being poor is hard, being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard.

Being obese is hard, keeping fit is hard. Choose your hard.

Being a leader is hard, being a victim is hard. Choose your hard.

Starting your business is hard, working for a company is hard. Choose your hard.

WAKE UP! Life will never be easy. If you choose your hard wisely, maybe you can make your life a lot easier.

The only thing worse than action is inaction.

Act Now.

Taken from the first chapter of my book "You Don't Suck".
